Avery Kendall completed their Bioengineering Co-op placement in the Collins lab between 2023-2025, where they contributed to several large histological studies amongst other key staple techniques in the lab. As of May 2025, Avery rejoins the Collins lab as a master's in engineering student, and will conduct their research thesis in the lab, which is focused on understanding changes in the mechanical properties of the female heart during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
